, Executive Director
Lisa received a B.S. in fisheries from Michigan State University. Originally from Michigan, she migrated west in 1992, landing in Idaho for almost 8 years. She worked with the Idaho Department of Fish and Game for five of those years. She went back to school and earned a Masters of Studies in Environmental Law from the Vermont Law School. Shortly after, she began working for Tillamook County as the coastal resource planner and then planning manager. She found herself in the middle of many interesting land use cases that highlighted the land-water interface. Lisa was also the Mayor of Rockaway Beach, which she loved, for 5 years before retiring in January of 2009. She said it figured that the one job she could retire from before she was 40 was the one that didn’t pay. Lisa was on the Board of Directors for the TEP for over 8 years. She is thrilled to be on board with the TEP and looks forward to the next phase of the organization as it moves forward.
