Board of Directors
The TEP Board of Directors establishes policy and overall direction for the program. It is responsible for fiscal and administrative oversight as well as hiring the organization's Executive Director. The Board was established to represent the broad range of interests that exists within the Tillamook County. The TEP Bylaws establish a Board of 20 Directors comprised of the following:
- Four natural resource managers from the Governor's Natural Resources Office, Oregon Dept of Fish and Wildlife, Oregon Dept of Environmental Quality, and the Tillamook County Soil and Water Conservation District (EPA and ODA are ex-officio, non-voting Board members);
- Three publicly-elected officials including two representatives of the Cities of Tillamook County, and one from the Board of County Commissioners (an ex-officio, non-voting member);
- Five industry representatives including the shellfish industry, sportfish industry, Tillamook County Creamery Association, the Ports of Tillamook County, and marinas;
- Three other local stakeholders including the Economic Development Council of Tillamook County, the Tillamook Bay Estuary and Habitat Improvement District, and a Tillamook County K-14 Education representative;
- One land trust; and
- Four members of the general public.
