Bounty On The Bay

Bounty on The BaySAVE THE DATE:

7th Annual BoB Fest; Friday, May 21st & Saturday, May 22nd, 2010

The boats will be rolling into Garibaldi as fishing enthusiasts gather May 21st -22nd, 2010 for the Seventh Annual Bounty on the Bay.  The weekend of food, fishing and fun will raise vital funds to support our Habitat Restoration Program and its salmonids habitat restoration projects throughout Tillamook County.  Now in its seventh year, Bounty on the Bay has become one of the most-anticipated spring events for anglers on the North Coast.

The historic two-day fundraising extravaganza will take place at the Old Mill Marina in Garibaldi on Friday, May 21st with appetizers, a dutch auction and a Spring Chinook angling seminar provided by local pro guides.  At sunrise on Saturday, May 22nd, the Spring Chinook fishing tournament takes place on the beautiful and scenic Tillamook Bay, featuring fishing prizes and an opportunity to hire one of several
local guides who donate their proceeds to our salmon restoration effects.  The activities will culminate Saturday evening with a sumptuous seafood pasta dinner - a hallmark of the event that includes gourmet barbequed oysters and freshly grilled fish - and a silent auction hosted by the TEP Board of Directors, staff and volunteers.  The fishing prizes will also be awarded to the day's lucky anglers.

This annual fundraiser supports our efforts to implement the Tillamook Bay Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan (CCMP).  Over eight years in development, the CCMP establishes 63 scientifically based, community supported actions that restore water quality, enhance degraded habitats, reduce sedimentation and lessen the impacts of coastal flooding.

As a 501c(3) non-profit organization, all contributions are tax deductible and go towards TEP's habitat restoration efforts.
