Looking for an opportunity to network in natural resources? The Tillamook Estuaries Partnership (TEP), located in Garibaldi, is looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about the estuaries and watersheds in Tillamook County to serve on its Board of Directors.  As part of the National Estuary Program supported through the US Environmental Protection Agency, this 501(c)(3) non-profit organization is committed to the restoration and conservation of the watersheds in Tillamook County.  With a focus on partnerships, TEP implements habitat restoration projects and water quality monitoring projects throughout its project area as well maintaining a strong education component with k-12 and adults.

The TEP Board of Directors are active volunteers for TEP, meeting monthly, participating in TEP outreach events, guiding the policies and direction of the organization, and representing TEP in the community. Desirable candidates for this position will be those that are advocates for our natural resources, have an interest or understanding of the different land uses and economic drivers in the community and region, have the time and energy to volunteer for the board and events, and bring fundraising experience from multiple arenas to the table.  Individuals who have solid networks and partnerships throughout the entire project area (ranging from the Nehalem Bay to Neskowin Creek) are strongly encouraged to apply.
