Wetland Kit

Recommended for grades 4-12
This kit explores wetlands and their many components. Emphasis focuses on understanding what characteristics define a wetland. The inhabitants such as birds, mammals, and invertebrates that rely on wetlands for habitat are stressed. Further focus is placed on wetland functions in a larger context to demonstrate the role that they play as both reservoirs for water and as filters. Use in the field or classroom.
