Job Posting for Backyard Planting Program - Two Positions

The Tillamook Estuaries Partnership has 2 positions open on it's Backyard Planting Program crew. The program works on multiple private properties across the county to control invasive species and establish native trees and shrubs within riparian areas. Applicants must be able to operate gas powered weed eaters and hand tools, navigate rough terrain, and be willing to work in inclement weather. The ability to identify invasive and native plant species is preferable. Applicants need to have a vehicle and be willing to travel to project sites. Travel time is compensated. The starting wage is $16/hour. Gas powered weed eaters, hand tools, safety gear, and rain gear will be provided. Members of the crew are employed by Barretts Business Services in Tillamook.
